We began this journey as a family-run removals and storage business, proudly serving Yorkshire, Lancashire and beyond for 70 years. Over the decades we’ve seen the housing market evolve — changing legal requirements, fluctuating interest rates, and the simple fact that buying and selling now often takes far longer than it used to.
Running a busy removals company gave us a unique, behind-the-scenes view of what people really go through when moving home. Even though removals happen near the end of the process, we’re there when stress levels are highest — hearing first-hand the frustration of chasing updates, dealing with multiple companies, and struggling to get hold of solicitors, only to be told they’re “on the phone” or “at lunch”… and then never hearing back. That uncertainty leaves families feeling stuck, anxious, and completely in the dark.

Jen is originally from Todmorden where her family still predominantly live and now resides in Hebden Bridge with her husband and 3 children. She is a truly family oriented person and spends all of her spare time making family memories.
She has had a close involvement within the property market for the last 15 years and has built up extensive knowledge through talking to customers when working for our sister company, Howarths Removals.
Her ‘I genuinely care’ attitude which she carries with her on a day to day basis shines through in her work, consistently being praised for her kind and caring nature when dealing with her customers.
Bailey
Photographer
Bailey is our commercial photographer who studied and successfully completed Digital Media at college with a distinction. In his spare time he really takes his passion for photography to a new level and loves to travel with his camera, capturing the world through his lens.
He has a wealth of experience in outdoor and interior photography, aerial drone videography, photography and estate agent video tour services. Bailey is a real people person and takes incredible pride in his work. He is a perfectionist and ensures that every photo he takes is done with true gratification.
Libby
Sales Negotiator
Libby is our bright and enthusiastic sales and lettings negotiator. Her A Level in Business and paid diploma in Estate Agents and Residential Letting at QLS Level 5 (by Home Sweet Home Properties) ensures she’s carries the highest level of skills in the property market.
Libby is born and bred in the area, along with generations of her family, so is a vital member of the team where local knowledge is concerned. Her genuine compassion and thoughtful attitude gives her the transferable skills to be a valued member of the Home Sweet Home Properties Team.
